Our 2023 Chevy Silverado ceramic coating client from the Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights area found us on Google, where we always strive to have a quick response rate! In this instance, we got their message on Google and got them into the shop the very next day by shuffling around our ceramic coating and clear bra schedule.
Our Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights client brought us his 2021 Cadillac CT5V for paint correction and ceramic coating, with the primary goal to remove previous automatic car wash swirls. You can see our other videos that discuss the dangers of car washes. In many cases, clients buy cars that have already been through washes, or the dealer wash, or in many cases, to no fault of anyone – people don’t realize the damage they cause. All of that is ok, because we always correct black vehicles!
Our Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights client brought his 2021 Dodge RAM 1500 in for paint correction and ceramic coating. Even though his vehicle was meticulously maintained, it never hurts to enhance the gloss of the vehicle just a bit with our paint correction before applying ceramic coating. Of course, paint correction is NOT required prior to ceramic coating your vehicle, but many clients opt for this route.
This repeat client and veteran from the Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights area had previously brought us his BMW for ceramic coating. He was so satisfied that he also brought us his 2019 Ford F150 Raptor for paint correction and ceramic coating! Some time ago, our client was using his truck off road and hit a few tree branches, which put some pretty decent scuffs and scratches into his paint and door trim, which we corrected prior to applying ceramic coating.
This 2018 Infiniti Q50 ceramic coating project began with a call from a body shop doing warranty work their client after they had a large portion of their vehicle repainted after a rock truck dumped rocks all over the road. We coordinate with local body shops frequently, which this was no exception.
We started off by polishing his hood, which had some swirls and sanding marks left from the body shop. This is not a negative on the body shop, they do one type of work and we do another. Most body shops you can think of as buying a built house. The house is going to be mostly finished but you might want to repaint some rooms or finish off the garage. We often refine paint work by putting that finishing touch polish on the paint.
Boy, have these Lincoln Continentals come a long way (in my humble opinion) in looks. This 2020 Lincoln Continental ceramic coating project came to us initially just as a ceramic coating. However, after careful review, the owner decided on a single-step paint correction to remove some faint swirl marks not from a car wash. We removed about 80% of the swirls and restored the gloss of this 2020 Lincoln continental to factory finish with just a single step. Even though this vehicle is black, we have ways to work a quality compound and polish into the process, often doing the work of a two-step in just a single-step paint correction.
Our Fort Cavazos solider brought us his 2016 Ford Mustang in for a three year ceramic coating to make bug gut cleanup easier, enhance shine, and to restore his faded plastic trim.
The first thing we did on this 2016 Ford Mustang ceramic coating project was clay bar the paint. The paint on this Mustang was very very rough to the touch and was textbook case of decontamination and clay bar to remove impurities from the paint. Over time, iron, grime, and other contaminants will embed themselves in the clearcoat at a microscopic level. If your paint makes a rough sandpaper sound when you touch it, then you know this all too well. We also used American Detailer Garage F-Bomb in our spray canister to help dislodge some of the grime.
Do you have a fun sports car you like to drive on the weekends? Our Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights area client does! This 2019 Camaro RS paint correction project came to us to restore the black paint to pristine condition after a few years of daily driving!
I have lost track of how many times we have worked on this client’s vehicles or wheels, but it’s enough to make us really proud of our work and the loyalty we get from clients! In this case, his 2023 Subaru Impreza five-year coating project came to us almost straight from the dealership for an exterior/interior coating. We previously ceramic coated his 2019 Subaru Impreza WRX, and at one point even some of his indoor house fixtures!
