Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings

What Is Paint-correction?

“Paint correction is the process of removing minor scratches and imperfections found in the vehicles clear coat. Using an electric polisher, a microfiber buffing pad, and a special cutting compound, the detailer or you will cut into the clear coat of a vehicle’s paint till the scratches are leveled or removed.”

HOW EXACTLY IS A SCUFF OR SCRATCH REMOVED?

We remove scratches by actually removing a part of your clear-
coat! We talked about it here.

OK, SO WHAT IS YOUR POINT AND WHY ARE YOU TELLING US ABOUT DIAMONDS?

If you happened to watch the video in the link above, I explained it, but it’s basically like this: Our goal is to balance any risk (there’s always some, but minimized for sure) when we do paint correction and ceramic coating on your car.

We attempt to make your paint visually perfect, much like a diamond. If you take a diamond to a jeweler, they’ll be able to find flaws using their loupe, much like we could find flaws in paint using high powered LED lamps, but to the naked eye unaided, it looks perfect. This balances any risk with taking off too much clearcoat with visual perfection.

Bring your car in from Killeen, Harker Heights, or Copperas Cove (or farther, if you wish!), and we can demonstrate on our test hood that we have hanging up in the shop.
