In general, many people in the industry as well as public believe that PPF on the hood, if you were to only pick one panel, would be the way to go. Personally, I don’t agree with this thought process, and neither did our Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights area client who wanted us to PPF her bumper and ceramic coat the rest.
In the era where gas-powered muscle cars, especially those equipped with manual transmissions, are becoming increasingly rare, the Dodge Challenger Last Call holds a unique significance. With Dodge bidding farewell to the production of gas-powered muscle cars, this Challenger model stands as a symbol of the “Last Call” for this iconic genre. The impending transition to electric vehicles, as seen in the Corvette’s discontinuation of its manual option and the uncertainty surrounding the gas-powered C8 amid the C8 E-Ray’s imminent arrival, adds an air of nostalgia to these powerful machines.
We recently worked on a remarkable 2023 Dodge Challenger ceramic coating project at Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings. This project was particularly special because our valued client was a referral from another satisfied customer. We deeply appreciate these referrals, as they reflect our clients’ trust and satisfaction in our services.
The 2023 Dodge Challenger is an icon in the world of muscle cars, and our goal was to ensure that it continued to stand out, even in the challenging Texas climate. The client’s Challenger was a ‘Shakedown’ model, and it came in a stunning and distinctive appearance with bold vinyl stripes. However, the Texas sun and road conditions posed challenges, including the fading risk of those vibrant stripes.
Our Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights client brought his 2021 Dodge RAM 1500 in for paint correction and ceramic coating. Even though his vehicle was meticulously maintained, it never hurts to enhance the gloss of the vehicle just a bit with our paint correction before applying ceramic coating. Of course, paint correction is NOT required prior to ceramic coating your vehicle, but many clients opt for this route.
Preserving Pristine Matte Majesty: The 2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Matte PPF Project
In the heart of the Copperas Cove, Killeen, Harker Heights, and Fort Cavazos region, a distinguished soldier proudly owns a 2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, a magnificent machine with a mere 7,000 miles on its odometer. This Hellcat boasts a factory-finished matte-painted hood, a hallmark of distinction and performance. However, recognizing the need to safeguard this matte masterpiece, our client embarked on a journey to protect it with our Autobahn Starkë Paint Protection Film (PPF). Our Autobahn films are celebrated for their exceptional quality, and they bear the promise of a lifetime warranty, free from hassles and complications.
When was the last time you saw us doing PPF on a Durango? Well, it’s been about a year and a half! Just like our Durango we had a year and a half ago, this 2021 Dodge Durango SRT PPF project is getting a full front as well (hood, fenders, mirrors, and front bumper)! Our Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights client contacted us when he bought this new-to-him 2021 Dodge Durango SRT with only 10k or so miles on the clock. He is a soldier stationed in El Paso, but his family lives here – so he’s looking to protect his paint with all these highway miles he puts on the vehicle. He was in a bit of a time crunch as he was leaving quickly after buying it, so we snuck him in and got him taken care of!
Our Kempner-area client brought us his brand new 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat for PPF. This Hellcat is the Redeye Jailbreak trim level, non-widebody. The Jailbreak trim on the 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat allows the builder (owner) of the car to select any options they want from trim levels, which is an interesting way to go out with a bang. This is the “Last Call”, meaning this 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat PPF is going on a potential future collector’s edition car, as it’s not going to be produced any longer.
Our Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights area client was looking for options for ceramic coating his 2022 Dodge Charger to make it easier to clean, and quick work of bug guts. Did you know that bug guts, like bird poop, are acidic and can permanently etch a painted surface? With ceramic coating, it can still etch if left unattended, especially in the Central Texas sun during the summer – BUT – they are also easily removed. At Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings, we firmly believe that if we help make your 2022 Dodge Charger (or whatever your car may be!) easy to clean, you (and we) will be more likely to clean it. Everyone is busy, and many of us use our cars as daily drivers. Being able to easily remove contaminants means they are less likely to stay on the car long-term.
Our Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights area soldier immediately brought us his 2023 Dodge Charger for Ceramic Coating from the dealership! This is the best way to handle any ceramic coating or paint protection film/PPF/clear bra, to get protection before anything can get damaged! Did you know that bug guts and bird poop can etch the paint? Ceramic coating will not stop all paint etching – BUT – it makes bird poop and bug guts so much easier to remove, making it less likely to remain on the paint long enough to etch.
We took this 2021 Dodge RAM 1500 to our partner’s shop in Austin, Texas, because the truck was lifted and needed more clearance. This is precisely why we build relationships with our fellow detailing shops! At Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings, we have business insurance so that we can drive your vehicle if need be (we also have insurance to cover you while you’re in our shop)!
This gorgeous 2021 Dodge RAM 1500 needed some paint correction (polishing) to restore it to it’s original glory, or better! We like to think that every car or truck we work on, we can make it better than it originally was when you purchased it (or, if you are the second or third owner, better than you have ever seen it!)
