Matthew has always been a “car guy,” most recently having a 2016 Mazda Miata fully caged race car (@matth3waj on Instagram) which he sold to buy his 2014 C7 Corvette. In 2018, he founded and still manages the Facebook group Texas HPDE, Track, TT, Road Racing, etc, which remains the largest road racing Facebook group in Texas with over 4.7k members. He remains active in the Texas track community despite selling his race car. As a result of his experience with track cars, he has many tools and an understanding of cars that exceed that of many other detailers. Removing track rubber and other unique-to-tracking detailing issues are no problem.
