2023 Chevy Corvette Stingray - Clear Bra & Ceramic Coating Install
We met this Temple-based client last year, while doing a mobile auto detailing job in Pflugerville, and we are fortunate that he saved our business card for a year and grateful that he chose HHCC to install his track package clear bra/paint protection film/PPF, as well as a five year ceramic coating using SB3 Coatings Alpha on the exterior surfaces (to include the clear bra), SB3 Coatings Vortex two year ceramic coating for wheels on our “wheels-off” package (we remove the wheels and coat all of the surfaces instead of just the wheel faces), and SB3 Coatings Optic one year ceramic glass /windshield coating.

We work with Bouley Detailing quite a bit, as it makes us more efficient to have two installers, and we both attended original training certification together in Houston at Global Films, before they went to Xpel training in San Antonio and we went on to Auto Film Specialists /Auto Film Mastery in Houston for additional training. Originally we attended Ceramic Pro Kavaca training in Carlsbad, CA.
We love working on C8 corvettes, and we have done so many in the local area that it never gets boring!
Our clear bra/paint protection film track package covers the hood, bumper, fenders, front parts of the mirror, rocker panels (below the doors and in the case of the C8, into the vent area), the leading roof edge, and partial A-pillar (pillars in front of the driver).

We talked a lot in a FAQ article about what the major differences are between clear bra/paint protection film/PPF companies, if any, between major film manufacturers like Xpel, SunTek, Eastman, Llumar, 3M, Ceramic Pro – Kavaca, STEK, Flexishield, Global, Legend and more (https://hhceramiccoatings.com/what-is-the-difference-between-major-clear-bra-brands-faq/). The key takeaway is that the primary differences are in the properties of the adhesive, which is something installers have to deal with, but generally, don’t have an effect on anything the client sees.
People frequently ask about Xpel clear bra/paint protection film, and if Legend PPF compares to Xpel at all. A lot of people use Xpel to mean clear bra, because Xpel is one of the most popular brands. – The SB3 Coatings Trinity is a seven-year coating, which we did not offer previously with Ceramic Pro.
– SB3 Coatings Vortex is a two-year ceramic coating similar to Ceramic Pro Wheel & Caliper or Ceramic Pro 9H (when used on wheels).
– The SB3 Coatings Optic is a one-year ceramic coating similar to Ceramic Pro Glass. It is used on your windshield/glass surfaces.
