CERAMIC COATING & CLEAR BRA IN KILLEEN/COPPERAS COVE/FT. HOOD/HARKER HEIGHTS
Yet another satisfied Killeen-area client and yet ANOTHER electric vehicle here at Harker Heights Ceramic Coatings with this 2023 Rivian R1S clear bra and ceramic coating install! This was our first Rivian at HHCC, let alone the Rivian R1S fully-electric SUV. As we mentioned in our article about the Ford Mustang Mach E – we seem to be getting more and more electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles here. We have our own hybrid, the BMW i8, a few Tesla Model Y, this Rivian R1S, a Honda Clarity, the Ford Mustang Mach E, and a few others! We are proud of the fact that our 55 panel, 22.14kW solar panel system powers our home and our business with ZERO net electricity consumption from the electric grid (some months are over-produced and returned to the grid, and some months are slightly short, but most months we over produce solar electricity, given the amount of sun we receive in the Copperas Cove/Killeen/Fort Hood/Harker Heights areas).
For this Rivian R1S, the Killeen-area client brought it to us almost straight from the delivery. This is incredibly important to do with clear bra, just as we mentioned in our article about the Toyota Camry TRD that came to us. With paint being so thin, rock chips often happen even within the first 100 miles. After we completed the clear bra installation, we installed a five-year ceramic coating from SB3 Coatings on all painted surfaces, a two-year ceramic coating on the wheels, and a one-year ceramic coating on the windshield.

For this vehicle, we used Legend Paint Protection Films. We talked a lot in a FAQ article about what the major differences are between clear bra/paint protection film/PPF companies, if any, between major film manufacturers like Xpel, SunTek, Eastman, Llumar, 3M,, STEK, Flexishield, Global, Legend and more.
