2016 Ford Mustang Ceramic Coating process in Copperas Cove/Killeen/Harker Heights

Our Fort Cavazos solider brought us his 2016 Ford Mustang in for a three year ceramic coating to make bug gut cleanup easier, enhance shine, and to restore his faded plastic trim. The first thing we did on this 2016 Ford Mustang ceramic coating project was clay bar the paint. The paint on this Mustang was very very rough to the touch and was textbook case of decontamination and clay bar to remove impurities from the paint. Over time, iron, grime, and other contaminants will embed themselves in the clearcoat at a microscopic level. If your paint makes a rough sandpaper sound when you touch it, then you know this all too well. We also used American Detailer Garage F-Bomb in our spray canister to help dislodge some of the grime.

After fully decontaminating the paint, we applied a three year ceramic coating to the paint and exterior surfaces on this 2016 Ford Mustang ceramic coating project, restored the plastics from their typical faded gray (we see this a lot on Mustangs and Jeeps), and applied ceramic coating to the wheel faces and windshield.
