Is paint correction and paint enhancement the same as bodywork or paint work?

The terms paint correction and paint enhancement seem to indicate that we do auto body or paintwork. As much as I wish we were qualified and able to do paintwork, we aren’t. Most cities like Harker Heights, Killeen, Copperas Cove, do not allow people to have autobody/paintwork shops as home-based businesses.

If you notice, most body shops are located in specific areas. Cities aren’t apt to approve outside of those areas. The reasoning is, that even if a body shop or paint shop does great work, there are still typically pieces of vehicles, oil, waste, solvents and gasses, smells, and more than that. We joke that the city of Harker Heights is like an HOA (only kidding, though, we understand), and citizens will complain about body shops operating in their area.

So, unfortunately, we don’t do anything that involves painting. We spent a lot of time adhering to the rules and Harker Heights code, and talked to both the planning and zoning commission, as well as the city council. We intend to follow those rules.

That said, we aren’t qualified anyhow in paint/body work. We would rather you find a qualified professional to do your paint and autobody work, and then come to us afterwards.
